What is a skin?

A skin is a high-quality vinyl material, laminated, self-adhesive sticker with a unique, customized design that enhances the natural physical appearance of a device. Skins are made from cast vinyl with patented Air-Release Adhesive technology.

Why should I use a skin? 

A skin is a unique, inexpensive way to make a device stand out in the crowd. It is an excellent way of giving a device an original look and personality. Skins offer great protection from scratches and stains, and can be easily replaced if damaged.

How do I apply the skin?

How do I care for the skin?

Any surface stains or markings may be removed with a dampened soft cloth. Avoid using any chemical-based cleaners as this may damage the skin. For difficult stains, we recommend using a very small amount of mild soap and warm water.

Is the skin reusable?

Skins are not reusable. When you remove a skin from a device; the vinyl should not leave any residue, but it will likely stretch and not fit the device again.

Can the skin be easily removed?

Skins will stick to most surfaces for a long time but can also be easily removed without leaving any harmful residue. If there is any residue left on the device, it can be wiped off easily with isopropyl alcohol.

Will the skin damage my device?

No, our skins are made with the highest adhesive on the market: 3M Controltac. This is what separates us from our competitors.

Will it void my device’s warranty?

Typically, the application of a skin will not void a device’s warranty, but we recommend reviewing your warranty to be certain.
